America's Health Epidemic: The Truth
as interpreted and explained by Jeff Cardinal

Preface

Thank you for coming to this page; your life may never be the same after you're done reading this. I intend to cut through the mess by thoroughly explaining what is really happening to the health of many people right now and what you can actually do about it. I know this looks like a lot but everything I have put together here is the culmination of a lot of research and some of my own experiences. Since this is important, I won't waste your time but I will cover everything you really need to know because it may be useful in saving you and/or the lives of your loved ones... seriously!! Below is a quick summary for those who just want the main points. I'm not trying to sell anything here; I have nothing to gain from this; this is purely informative and I want as many people as possible to be aware of and cure themselves from this epidemic that has slowly been killing us. I do want to mention that I am not a doctor and these interpretations are conveyed through my personal opinions and experiences however they are based upon various studies and research projects from other doctors, scientists and nutritionists throughout the world. I strongly encourage you to validate these claims and perform your own independent research. I plan to explain to you how everything appears to fit together according to my interpretation but you are free to form your own opinion. However, if you are intrigued and want to learn more, you should read this entire article to further educate yourself.

Summary

The truth is many of us, probably around 80 percent of Americans, have been unknowingly living with a systemic fungal overgrowth inside us for most likely many years, decades or possibly even our entire life. This fungus is the actual root cause for the majority of American health issues, including obesity, many heart disease problems, most thyroid and metabolic issues, possibly type 2 diabetes, generally shorter life spans, most digestion issues, many different mental issues and is a main pre-cursor in the development of many forms of cancer. The fungus is a type of yeast known as Candida Albicans and it feeds on sugars/carbohydrates, preservatives and artificial sweeteners; ingredients which are very common in American diets these days. You may have heard of this fungus before, or thought you had this and got rid of it but you probably were never told or understood how this microbe really works inside our bodies. It is able to significantly and negatively affect both your physical and mental health as well as your actual personality. It explains why so many of us are increasingly finding it harder to lose weight or get into shape, why we seem to be addicted to sugars and carbs, why we're mentally exhausted and full of stress, and why we're running into so many system-wide health problems and ailments. To rid yourself of this fungal overgrowth, it mostly can be taken care of by taking a strong probiotic. There are additional steps including anti-fungal supplements and/or steps to reduce sugar and carb intake which can help to bring the fungus under control if you read further. I'm not exactly sure why this isn't more of common knowledge in today's society; it could be a lack of information, misdiagnoses or some entities may have a vested interest in keeping this information undisclosed. Whatever the reason, that's not the point of this; my intentions are to try and explain what's happening the way I understand the properties of this microbe, its effects and interactions with animals and the human body, and how you can honestly get rid of this thing if you do have it so you can finally gain your humanity back!

I know this sounds like a bold claim but please, let me explain...

As you may (or may not) know, our digestive system contains trillions upon trillions of different bacteria, fungi and other single-celled organisms. What many of us are starting to realize though is that it is EXTREMELY important to make sure that we have the right types and amounts of these bacteria and fungi in our guts. If the balance gets out of whack, bad things will start to happen with your health, and this is where an overgrowth problem begins. Sixty-percent of the cells in your body are part of your digestive system, therefore your overall health, especially your immune system, is largely dependent on the health and efficiency of your digestive system.

All these different types of organisms have different tasks and our bodies completely depend on them to process our food. If we didn't have them we couldn't digest anything! Some help us absorb the different vitamins and minerals in our food, some process the proteins in the meats we eat, some process the different types of fats and some process different types of carbohydrates. That last one is where it gets interesting. I don't think I need to argue this but as you know, since the 1950's our diets have been getting worse and worse. Big food corporations, along with fast-food industries, have been adding more and more sugars, artificial sweeteners and preservatives to our foods while we are more and more increasingly exposed to antibiotics as well. Antibiotics are found everywhere; especially in medicines, birth control pills as well as in the animals we eat for food. It's a well-known fact in the livestock industry that animals given antibiotics get fatter and are usually more unhealthy, but more on that later.

One of these microbes in our gut is known as Candida Albicans and it is a yeast (a type of fungus) which is responsible for processing the sugars, preservatives and artificial sweeteners we consume. Unfortunately, with our high-carb American diets which are loaded with sugars, sweeteners and preservatives, we have been unknowingly feeding this Candida fungus for many years or possibly our whole life. At the same time, we've been killing off our good bacteria with antibiotics and they are our best allies in keeping Candida under control. If this situation continues for a while inside our body, the serious issue of a runaway overgrowth begins and along with all of our poor diets, it becomes epidemic.

Ideally, our guts should contain about 80% of the really good bacteria and about 20% of the not-as-good microbes such as Candida. Candida is beneficial in small amounts and we actually do require it to live, but it becomes very bad when it overgrows. We just need to get that ratio back to 80/20 and then our good bacteria in our guts along with our immune system can remain balanced and can keep the Candida in check. This will keep our bodies running smoothly and efficiently.

I would like to clarify that an overgrowth of Candida is not cancerous and isn't a tumor. Candida are single-celled organisms and an overgrowth is just when they reproduce into excessive numbers. Left unchecked or uninhibited, they proceed to overpopulate your gut where they can then work themselves into different areas of your body.

Candida, when they're under control, should naturally live in our large intestine. They're usually friendly and are supposed to be there to help us absorb and catch any remaining undigested sugars/carbs that weren't digested as they passed through our small intestine. However, once the Candida grow out of control in the large intestine, they begin to infest the small intestine. The small intestine walls are much thinner than the large intestine and the Candida are able to poke microscopic holes through it. This allows food particles that you ate to travel directly into your blood stream before it was finished digesting, known as "leaky gut syndrome." Your body must destroy these particles and it may eventually cause some people to develop food allergies to things like wheat, soy, and other foods. Even if you don't develop allergies though, these are more toxins that get added to your blood stream and further complicate your condition by exhausting your already weakened immune system. If the overgrowth still doesn't stop, they can overtake the entire small intestine as well and begin to infest the stomach. When this happens, you'll notice more stomach cramps and issues along with more frequent burping and/or heartburn after meals. Once the Candida have infested the small intestine or stomach, many people will begin to suffer persistent issues and discomfort in their digestion such as bloating, cramping, diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome and other problems especially when they consume sugar or carb-rich food/drinks. If that sounds familiar, you likely have a Candida overgrowth.

Candida produces up to 180 serious toxins which wreak havoc on our bodies; and toxin production spikes when they feed, which is when we eat. In order to live with a Candida overgrowth, our body must make a few changes to keep us alive. The primary defense is that with all these toxins floating around, our body needs to dilute itself in order to limit the damage they cause so it starts to retain water, causing you to swell and gain some water weight. Also, our body understands that this overgrowth is not okay and so our immune system's new primary task is to fight the overgrowth. But, if we never fix the problem or just keep feeding it, our immune system will be stuck fighting this thing for the rest of our life. This causes our overall health to slowly but steadily deteriorate and drops our defenses for fighting off other illnesses, therefore we tend to get sick more often and encounter more frequent health issues.

Once the Candida have breached your small intestine, it has access to your blood stream and is able to travel elsewhere and everywhere in your body which is where we start to get into the multitude of health issues. When you eat food, up until you just learned all of this, you thought your body was using all this energy, but guess what? The Candida living within you get first dibs on your meal and grab both the food energy and those essential nutrients for itself while leaving fewer nutrients and energy for your body to pick up. This makes your body feel unsatisfied nutritionally making you want to satisfy that void with more food, also causing the Candida to grow further. At the same time, the Candida are not very good at extracting many vitamins and minerals. If your intestine are overgrown with Candida rather than other good bacteria, you aren't even extracting many of those nutrients from your food. Even a multi-vitamin won't have much of a health benefit because very little nutrients are being absorbed! With this lack of internal nutrition due to the large colonies of Candida in your gut, your body continues to improperly and poorly metabolize your food, causing your metabolism and thyroid gland to become inhibited, usually leading to weight gain and/or a decrease in your overall energy levels. If this internal lack of nutrition for your body continues for a while, it may likely be a significant cause in the development of cancerous tumors since cancer is usually linked to prolonged nutritional deficiencies.

When Candida begins to get more systemic, it begins to have a more noticeable effect on your mental health and personality. It's not a bacteria or a plant; it's a fungus and fungi are a little more active in accomplishing their agenda which is to consume and grow! This fungus lives on sugars and carbs so it's able to get into your personality in a way that pressures you to crave the foods it wants such as sweets like candy/desserts as well as breads, wheat, pastas and alcoholic beverages. This problem is compounded by the fact that the Candida grab those nutrients and energy first, leaving your body with less to absorb. You think it's you who wants these foods because you are internally left unsatisfied and your Candida overgrowth still wants more too! And so, the cycle continues...

There are many problems that begin to develop but primary ones are you start to retain both water and fat weight, your thyroid and metabolism start to experience issues, you increasingly crave more sugars, carbs and/or alcohol, you seem to get sick more often, and you become less and less focused mentally. Issues like, for example, if you've counted calories before and for some reason, according to your calculator you should have lost 2 pounds but in real life you didn't, you probably have a Candida overgrowth and they are the reason for why nothing seems to work. If any of this sounds familiar to you or a loved one, please keep reading...

Candida is actually one of the main fungi that will consume your body after you die. Right now, your immune system has been trying to fight these guys off from completely consuming you but it becomes very draining for your body to do so over an entire lifetime. This causes exhaustion on your body and serious, sometimes irreversible health issues result down the road. Because of the multitude of toxins they produce and due to your body's decreased ability to extract and absorb nutrients, Candida overgrowth affects every system in your body therefore many Candida overgrowth sufferers will usually show several of these symptoms. If you have just one or very few, that may be due to a different problem in which case you should do further research and/or talk to your doctor. However, if you have some, many, or most of these symptoms, please continue to read further so you can learn how to finally fix this problem!

So if some or many of these symptoms sound at all familiar to you, you most likely have a Candida overgrowth. If you want to make sure, you can do a simple spit test.

When you wake up in the morning, before you rinse your mouth out with water and before you brush your teeth, do this test. Take a small, clear glass of water, maybe two-thirds full, and prepare to spit in it using only your mouth spit. Don't try coughing up anything or be crazy with it, just get some mouth spit together and spit into the glass of water. Come back in about 15 minutes. If the glass of water is still clear, then great, you don't have a Candida overgrowth, or it may be minimal. If the water is cloudy or if you see specks of whitish, yellowish flakes in the water, then that's the Candida you see and you do have an overgrowth. If you see spider-leg looking strings in the water as well then you have a more severe infestation and should take action as soon as possible.

It is estimated that as of the end of 2013, that about 80% of Americans actually have this problem. Luckily, we can really do something about this and it's actually rather simple. This entire time, we've all just been treating the symptoms of the overgrowth rather than the actual common source of all these problems which is why they never completely go away or sometimes get worse.

For years or even decades, we have tried to constantly exercise to keep weight off or get in shape, we change our diets or keep trying the next fad pill or diet. And every time, it never seems to really get the job done. The reason is that your weight loss, weight gain or mental improvement goals have to be put on hold because your immune system is trying to keep this overgrowth from entirely consuming you. Your body's top priority is to keep you alive at all costs and it has far more important issues to worry about than you trying to get into shape. Your body won't start doing what you tell it to do until you take care of this Candida overgrowth first! That's been the entire problem all these years!!

Okay, so you know your enemy now is the Candida overgrowth and in order to accomplish other life goals like getting into shape or improving your mental focus, you need to target and start killing off your Candida overgrowth first. Candida is a yeast (fungus) which can only live off of sugars/carbohydrates, artificial sweeteners and preservatives. In a normal, healthy person, this fungus is kept in balance inside the gut by the other good bacteria. But, when you overeat it can cause the Candida in your gut to grow in numbers while other factors such as having a stressful day or taking antibiotics may cause your good bacteria to decrease in numbers. If the Candida hit a certain ratio, they go beyond the tipping point and take over while your good bacteria and immune system struggle to keep them under control. The Candida overtake your digestive system followed by the rest of your body which is what has happened to many Americans. Another possibility is that you may have also been born with a poor gut floral balance. If an infant is breast-fed, they are adopting the same gut flora their mother has. And if their mother has a Candida overgrowth, the baby will begin life off with a Candida overgrowth as well giving them a poor gut floral balance to start with.

There have even been studies done on rats. On tests with rats, the gut flora from an overweight rat is swapped with the gut flora of a thin rat. Their diets and exercise routines were kept exactly the same; nothing else changed besides their gut flora. You can probably guess what happened by now. The overweight rat became thin while the thin rat became overweight. This goes to show how significant of a role the gut flora plays in the overall health of nearly all people and animals.

So what can we do to fix it!?

The first and most important thing you need to do is get a strong probiotic or super-probiotic. Probiotics are the opposite of antibiotics. In an antibiotic, bacteria are killed off. In a probiotic, you're adding good bacteria to your body. Unfortunately, the probiotic industry is also confusing and greedy so here's what you need to watch out for. Most probiotics on the market don't have anywhere near all the types of bacteria you need or enough of them. You want a strong probiotic with at least 10 different strains of the top beneficial bacteria along with at least 30 billion CFU's per capsule. CFU stands for Colony Forming Units and they are engineered bacteria to find a place in your gut to settle and begin forming good bacteria colonies. You also want to be aware of the cheaper probiotics as they really aren't all the same. Some cheaper ones may be made using poor manufacturing standards and a large amount of the bacteria could be dead before you even take them. This is no good either as you need the majority of the bacteria to be alive.

I personally use and recommend Keybiotics by Whole Body Research, however they are a little more on the expensive side. Keybiotics has 14 strains of good bacteria, 37.5 billion CFU's per capsule and the probiotic is specifically designed to fight Candida overgrowth and restore proper gut floral balance. Another good probiotic which I haven't yet tried but looks like it should be adequate is Ultimate 10 Probiotic 50 Billion by The Vitamin Shoppe which contains 10 strains of bacteria and 50 billion CFU's. Still another good looking alternative is Probiotic-10 50 Billion by Now which contains 10 strains and 50 billion CFU's as well.

Probiotics are also technically classified as a food and not as a medicine or drug. So those who are either sensitive or insensitive to medicines shouldn't have to worry about taking probiotics because they contain only bacteria which aid in digestion, and not any chemicals or drugs that affect your body like other medicines do. They are also one of the safest supplements you can take since they don't contain chemicals or drugs and interacts with practically no other medicines. If you are concerned or have questions though, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Also remember that these bacteria in the probiotics aren't foreign to your body; you have them right now. The problem is that they're far out-numbered by the Candida overgrowth and you just need some strong reinforcements of the good bacteria.

Going on extremely strict diets containing pure yogurts, leafy foods and fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut, kefir, pickles, olives and microalgae which are high in natural probiotics all while keeping your intake of sugars, carbs and processed foods to an extreme minimum will get the job done as well. But going on a diet this strict is usually very difficult for many people to successfully handle so taking a probiotic capsule is typically a much easier habit to adopt in an American life-style. It does help to know though which foods are high in probiotics because they will help you to feel generally better.

I do want to briefly mention something regarding birth control pills and the gut flora. Birth control pills typically contain antibiotics. What antibiotics do is kill all bacteria in your body, and unfortunately they don't discriminate; the good bacteria in your gut are killed as well. However, the Candida is a fungus and not affected by antibiotics. So what happens is women taking birth control pills typically have a higher chance of having a Candida overgrowth due to the Candida having freedom and fewer enemies in your gut to stop it from overtaking your body. Women taking birth control pills should almost certainly be taking probiotics to replace the many that are killed off by the antibiotics in their birth control pills. This same reasoning applies as well to people taking antibiotics in other forms. All antibiotics kill the good bacteria in your gut so those regularly using antibiotics would have a higher chance of Candida overgrowth and should actively replace the good bacteria which are killed off by taking a probiotic.

If you aren't used to taking probiotics, this is the very first time you have ever taken some, or if you have a more advanced Candida overgrowth, you should be aware that your lower intestine may not improve right away and they may actually get worse before they get better. You may have constipation, diarrhea or irritable bowel syndrome the first few days to even a week. The main cause of this is likely because your overgrowth is bad enough where your body isn't used to these good bacteria. This should improve after a few days though but you can get some additional relief by taking an anti-fungal supplement as well which I will go over shortly. Reducing your consumption of sugars and carbs does help to calm the discomfort of your small and large intestines too. You can also decrease the dosage of your probiotic by taking a half capsule or by take a capsule every other day. If it continues to be a problem after trying these other methods, you can try taking a weaker probiotic but you should attempt to get your dosage to the strong probiotic levels when you are able so you can make some progress against reducing your Candida overgrowth.

If you take one of these probiotic capsules every day, your Candida overgrowth should start to slow down and hopefully shrink. You should take a probiotic with food and not with any foods or drinks that are hot such as tea, coffee, soups, etc. because the high temperature will kill the good bacteria you're taking. Within the first few hours, you should be able to notice a good difference in the way your meal is digesting. You may notice less bloating, gas, burps and/or heartburn. Within maybe 3 or 4 days, you should be able to notice your energy levels increasing and you're having improved bowel movements. This is because your body has begun to efficiently process your food better and finally get those vital nutrients you haven't been getting this whole time! After about 10 days of taking probiotics, you should be noticing that your overall health is improving. Your weight may start to drop, your skin should glow more and your energy levels should continue to improve. Taking a strong probiotic should regain the proper balance in your gut but it may take anywhere from 1 to 12 months or longer, depending on the severity of your overgrowth condition. If you have a moderate to severe overgrowth, you like the feeling of improvement, or you simply need more help killing your overgrowth faster, you may also want to try including another aid in fighting Candida as well.

Since Candida is a fungus, adding an all-natural anti-fungal supplement will start making your body a poor place for the fungus to live and causes them to die. Anti-fungal supplements actually rupture the cell walls of Candida spores and your body then cleans their remains out of your system via urination and other disposal processes. The natural anti-fungal remedy I use and recommend is: Fast Fungal-Rid by Whole Body Research. Another decent looking anti-fungal supplement is CandiGone by Renew Life or Fungal Defense by The Vitamin Shoppe however I have not personally tried those. When it comes to picking an anti-fungal supplement, there are fewer things you have to worry about compared to picking the proper probiotics. However, you should try to stick to a natural anti-fungal aid which contains herbs, seeds, roots and leaf extracts rather than drugs or chemicals. Women taking birth control pills should be aware to not take any anti-fungal supplements which contain griseofulvin or nystatin as those chemicals may interfere with the effectiveness of your contraceptive. The link above is all-natural and does not contain those ingredients. If you are concerned though, you should talk to your doctor or pharmacist first, or skip taking anti-fungal supplements altogether if you don't feel you need them or don't want to risk it.

Now as you're starting to kill off the fungus, they'll be producing fewer toxins. Your body should start dropping weight, losing some water you've been retaining and metabolizing your food much better. If you want to help the process along, you can help by paying a little more attention to your diet. You don't have to go crazy though because your body is finally becoming efficient! This means that over-indulging won't go "straight to your hips" or have the same effect like they may have had before. But if you lower the amount of sugars and carbs you take in, it'll help starve the Candida as well, which helps them die even faster!

Candida overgrowth may be the explanation as to why a vegan diet or even Atkins diet is successful. Leafy foods and fermented vegetables are rich in natural probiotics. There are theories that the reason the vegan diet is successful is really because you are ingesting a lot of good probiotics. There are also theories as to the true reason why the Atkins diet was successful was because you are starving the Candida overgrowth of sugars and carbohydrates in the process. You actually starved your overgrowth without even knowing it. However the Atkins diet can be dangerous because it causes your digestive system to become highly acidic which leads to other serious health problems.

Depending on how severe your overgrowth is, you may want to continue taking the anti-fungal supplements anywhere from 2 months to 6 months to even a year until you feel the fungus is under control again and you're healthy. You probably don't need to be taking them for the rest of your life like it is recommended with probiotics, but an anti-fungal supplement will definitely help you kill off your Candida overgrowth faster, especially in the earlier stages of your cleansing.

Once your fungus is under control, your body will again, or for the first time, be an efficient, metabolizing machine!! Fitness goals for losing fat or gaining muscle will finally be attainable and your body will do what you want it to! I would recommend you probably continue taking probiotics for the rest of your life in order to keep your gut flora in that good balance. The alternative is to eat extremely healthy and eat practically no processed foods, sugars or sweeteners. For most of us, especially Americans, this may be near impossible to do so I'd recommend just taking a probiotic once a day and keeping an eye on your Candida. You may not have to use as strong CFU of a probiotic but you should pay attention so your Candida doesn't become overgrown again. Once you know and defeat your enemy, you just have to keep it in check and you'll live a long, healthy, happy life!

It'll be interesting after today now that you know the actual problem. Pay attention to how your body feels; you may notice now that you have much more bloating or bizarre digestion problems when you eat things with carbs or sugars. This is because the Candida in your gut are fermenting it and producing gases which come up as burps or stay as bloating. Candida also produces alcohol meaning you may notice a brain fog when you eat carbs and sugars. The Candida are making you slightly drunk! They also produce the same toxin that occurs when you have a hangover which just adds to the problem. This is really why big meals cause drowsiness; it's because you just gorged your Candida overgrowth and you're feeling all those toxic effects from that!

When you begin to get your overgrowth under control, you'll also notice you'll have less cravings for sugars, carbs and alcohol. You may even be able to start ditching your coffee's or soda's because you'll notice you feel more energetic in the mornings and rest of the day and don't need a caffeine boost. You may also notice that you don't need or want as much food as you used to. This is because your actual body instead of your Candida overgrowth is finally able to get most of those nutrients and energy for itself, therefore you'll feel more satisfied on a smaller portion and don't need or even want as much food anymore. You thought these problems were part of your personality or your genes, but it wasn't! It was this fungal overgrowth all along!

Now I'm not sure why this solution isn't worldwide yet. This could be for one of two reasons, or maybe both. Either doctors, pharmacists and nutritionists just aren't trained to detect or diagnose this kind of problem or another alternative is that money is involved. The sad fact is that unhealthy people are great for the economy. Unhealthy people eat more and have more health issues which help big businesses make higher profits. Whatever the reason, after you've started feeling the benefits of destroying your overgrowth and you're personally convinced that what I'm saying is true, please spread the word and tell everyone you know and love. We need to get the word out that probiotics are the cure to the American Epidemic!

Again, I have tried and recommend Keybiotics and Fast Fungal-Rid by Whole Body Research. For alternative choices of probiotics, you can also try Ultimate 10 Probiotic 50 Billion by The Vitamin Shoppe, Probiotic-10 50 Billion by Now or another strong probiotic on the market which you feel is best. For alternative choices of an anti-fungal supplement, you can also try CandiGone by Renew Life or Fungal Defense by The Vitamin Shoppe or most any other anti-fungal supplement you trust. After you cleanse using just the probiotics or anti-fungal supplement as well for 2 months to possibly a year, depending on how bad your situation is, stay on your main probiotic or lower your dosage to some form of weaker probiotic for the rest of your life so you'll be able to keep the Candida overgrowth from returning and will be living better than you ever were! You'll be able to eat regular meals while knowing your body is processing your food correctly, all while being in full control and feeling like a finely tuned human again, or for the first time!

If you're still interested and have time, you may want to watch this video below. This was a video I came across during my research and it really helped explain much of the actual problem to me. I took that information and continued to research, trying to find validity in their claims where I became convinced that most of their information was true which is why I also recommend you watch it if you want to learn more. It's about a half hour long and was made by a Craig Cappetta who is the Director of Nutrition and Science at Whole Body Research. I don't work for them or have any affiliation nor do I make any money. Please be aware that their video does contain a few scare tactics which I feel are rather aggressive and unnecessary but they do actually have some valid points and contains valuable information.

Here's a 30-minute video from the Whole Body Research company explaining much of this information visually:

Thank you for spending the time to read this and I hope you have great luck destroying your Candida overgrowth if you've determined you have one! If you need additional help, there are many resources online but I hope this guide helps to put all of the findings I've discovered into one, easy-to-understand guide. Please understand that this entire explanation are facts which I've brought together, however explained through my personal opinions and experiences of what the true problem and solutions are. Of course, I fully encourage you to do your own research and once again, good luck regaining your true personality and humanity back!

Jeff Cardinal

Recommended Schedule for Candida Cleanse and Maintenance using Keybiotics and Fungal Warrior (as of 1/1/2015)

If you plan to use the Keybiotics and Fungal Warrior products from Whole Body Research, this schedule is what I have found to work best for most people. This is written based on additional personal trials, modifications and experiences along with feedback from many people on their experiences through the cleanse.

Quick Dosage Summary

Perform an initial cleanse for at least seven (7) days by taking one (1) Keybiotic capsule and two (2) Fungal Warrior capsules daily. Adjust the number of Fungal Warrior capsules down or up, if needed, for lower or higher effectiveness during the initial cleanse. After your energy and bowel movements improve, decrease your dosage to the maintenance schedule levels by taking 1 Keybiotic capsule every other day and 1 Fungal Warrior capsule every day preferably just before a meal.

Quick Explanation

To recap, the anti-fungal supplement (Fungal Warrior) contains natural herbs and spices that directly attack the enemy which is a Candida overgrowth. This is your front-line defense which provides the fastest results and relief. The probiotics (Keybiotics) help to establish and keep your digestive system loaded with good bacteria which help you process and absorb your food and vitamins correctly as well as significantly aiding your immune system in disease prevention.

If you're just starting out with a Candida cleanse, follow the instructions below; it'll help you understand how much, how long and what to expect from the initial cleanse. If you've done this before and are in a maintenance schedule skip to the maintenance section below.

Initial Cleansing

Before you begin, you should understand and be prepared for what you should expect to happen during the initial cleanse. There is a large range of Candida overgrowth severities anyone could have. Some people can have none or a very minor overgrowth while some can have extremely severe overgrowths. The severity of Candida overgrowth determines how long you should be on the initial cleanse. I recommend everyone start out with a 7 day cleanse and then move on to the maintenance schedule. For some people, however, you should remain on the initial cleanse schedule for 2 or even 3 weeks. It is worth reminding you that these are not medicinal drugs but are digestive system aids so you can adjust the dosages to your liking without worrying about overdosing like you would with a medicine. I don't recommend you go extreme like quadrupling the dose or more but it doesn't hurt you if you do.

This is what you can expect to happen if you've never cleansed before or have a moderate to severe case of Candida overgrowth. The anti-fungal supplement directly affects and kills the Candida overgrowth itself. The supplement contains herbs, fruits and spices like echinacea, grapefruit and oregano which make your body a poor environment for fungus to live in. This initial destruction releases toxins from the Candida making you feel unpleasant and almost certainly will greatly disrupt your lower digestive system. You will likely feel worse and be in the bathroom significantly more than you're used to before you will get better. But you will get better! During the initial kill-off, the Candida becomes a greyish-black mucus that you must expel through bowel movements first so the good probiotics can find clean areas of your intestines to begin colonizing again. A majority of people will go through one to five days of expelling greyish-black mucousy stools and probably won't feel their best. Nauseousness, bloating, along with uncomfortable and frequent bowel movements are typical. However, if you remain persistent, you will succeed in cleaning out the majority of the Candida and your bathroom experiences will become much better. Plan on being able to have access to restrooms during your initial cleanse. Most people don't feel so bad where they need to take time off work but be prepared for your digestive system to feel uncomfortable for a few days.

The initial cleanse consists of taking one (1) Keybiotic capsules per day and two (2) Fungal Warrior capsules per day for seven (7) days. You should take the anti-fungal supplement over separate meals and not two at the same time. For example, you may want to take a probiotic and anti-fungal supplement in the morning and just one anti-fungal supplement in the evening or whatever works best to fit your schedule. It's just best to split up the anti-fungal supplement throughout the day if possible. If, after the first week, your bowel movements haven't improved to be more typical, solid, brown stools or you feel the detox is not yet complete, continue to stay on this initial regimen until your bathroom experiences and energy levels improve. If you absolutely cannot tolerate the initial cleanse and strongly feel that you need a lower dosage, try taking just one of the Fungal Warrior capsules per day but try to take two if you can until you feel better. Alternatively, if you still feel you want stronger assistance in fighting Candida, you can increase the anti-fungal dosage to three capsules split throughout each day but I wouldn't recommend any more than that for anyone. It isn't very beneficial to increase the probiotic dosage so I would recommend everyone take 1 probiotic per day during the cleanse and adjust the amount of anti-fungal capsules you take per day depending on how you feel. For best results, you should to take the capsules with a full stomach; I prefer to take them directly before a meal but feel free to work them into your schedule. The best time to take probiotics is right before a meal because stomach acid levels are lowest and the probiotics will be pushed through your system when you begin to eat. Try to avoid taking them directly after a meal because the stomach acids are strongest when digesting your food and may kill the majority of the probiotics. However, you will still greatly benefit from taking probiotics at any point of the day rather than not taking them at all. Therefore, if after a meal is the only schedule that works for you then by all means, use what works for you.

This is also the best time to introduce a multi-vitamin if you haven't already. The probiotics will be significantly more effective if you have a healthy balance of minerals and nutrients which they can use to help you. The good probiotics in your digestive system will also be able to absorb far more nutrients than you were able to before so you will notice a greater difference in the way vitamins and nutrient supplements improve your health from now on as well.

Some people may experience little to no detox effects while some may experience significant changes. Everyone will experience this differently and for different durations so you need to monitor yourself for how things are moving along. If you experience severe effects and are in the bathroom A LOT, remember this is normal and you need to remain persistent so things can get better. If you experience unexpected side effects outside of feeling under the weather, nauseous, and having greyish-black runny stool then you may want to seek other advice but these detox symptoms are expected. If you start to really feel this detox is too much, reduce your dosage of anti-fungal capsules. If you feel you need stronger help, increase your dosage of anti-fungal capsules.

You'll know you're nearing the end of your initial cleanse once your energy levels begin improving and your bathroom experiences start to become normal or are much better than normal. When you feel better again and are finished with the initial cleanse, you can move on to the maintenance schedule. Since Candida feeds on carbohydrates, reducing your intake of carbohydrates during this initial cleanse will help but you don't have to go overboard, just something to be aware of if you want to help it along.

Maintenance Schedule

Once your body is accustomed to the initial cleansing routine and are feeling much better, you can begin the long-term maintenance schedule. This will allow you to continue feeling this way but not having to go overboard with taking more supplements than you need. This schedule should be adequate to keep both your Candida and good bacteria at normal levels.

My recommended maintenance schedule is half the dose of the initial cleansing dosage. So, I recommend you take one (1) Keybiotic capsule every other day and one (1) Fungal Warrior capsule every day. The daily anti-fungal supplement will keep your body a poor place for a fungus to grow while the strong probiotics every other day keep your digestive system stocked with the good bacteria to keep you healthy and efficiently processing your food. Once again, I recommend taking the supplements just before a meal and with a multi-vitamin for best results.

One final note regarding multi-vitamins if you're not used to taking them. You may be surprised to find out that your urine may turn a bright yellow-green color within a few hours of taking a multi-vitamin. This is completely normal and is actually the result of a mineral called riboflavin which is in the multi-vitamin. Your body passes any excess vitamins and minerals, including excess riboflavin, through your urine and that typically turns it a bright yellow-green color. So don't panic if this happens to you; it is also completely normal and expected from taking a multi-vitamin or excess riboflavin.
